The design for the Museum of Modern Art is conceived as a materialisation of light and movement. The building manifests itself through changes in rhythm and by the movement it induces. Its plan is a blueprint for the organisation of motion and flow that is oriented towards the light. In its layout, the building thus creates the impetus for the visitor to explore its content.
