Milan, Italy, 1999
The form of the building is a ramp-like structure that climbs from the entrance piazza up along a series of terraces to culminate on the top of the existing Ansaldo building. One can look down over the very same entrance piazza from which the motion began. Along the terraces, different programmes are situated: café, shops, an outdoor theatre, a botanical garden, and a viewing platform.
