Prague, Czech Republic, competition 2017
The task of adding large volume to an already very bulky building is not a simple one. Our proposal suggest intervention that although enlarging the usable space as needed, it actually makes it look lighter.
A narrow strip of metal and glass structure envelopes and penetrates the existing building. It provides additional space where most needed and illuminates the building large volume.
